5681553ca0 Avoid connecting to redis backend in test environment. 
This makes it also possible to test if certain background task are doing what they should do.

a0760ebfdb Fixed delivering emails to users. 
There was a bug in User#receive_email? Return values are now true or false, not '1' or '0'.
