Description

As a contributor, I need to know under which license terms I publish my contributions.

As someone who hosts or distributes the software, I also need clear license terms.

Acceptance criteria

  • Clarify our goals regarding the licensing
  • Create a LICENSE file in the root of the repository

Potential goals

  • Make sure that people publish modifications as open source work as well? (AGPL)
  • Make adoption easier in corporate contexts by reducing friction? (MIT or others)
